Mount Kisco Mindful Eating Program

Supporting Mindful Eating Habits for

Residents of Westchester and Fairfield Counties

We all need to be more aware of our eating habits, and our thinking process. We now find ourselves eating mindlessly, and getting increasingly unhealthy and unhappy. Everyone can relate to this. The struggle over food, from an early human impulse for survival, now becomes an emotional rollercoaster. With our needs for shelter and food well taken care of, there are new phenomenons. A good example is people consuming entire bags of snacks without even realizing it. It seems this is often accompanied with watching TV. Perhaps, in our wondrous advancements, it makes sense to learn a new way to eat. Sirona Therapy now offers four weeks of instruction, with structure and support, to overcome these outdated ways of eating. These are scheduled to help people maintain healthy eating habits during challenging times of the year. This group will provide support, empathy, and realistic information and methods to avoid overeating. The Mindful Eating group is held twice a year, with a Spring group series, and a late Fall/Early winter series. The Mindful Eating group is $160 per 4 week series.

This supportive coaching experience will empower members to handle difficult situations outside the group. Group members will gain strategies and techniques to help them cope with constant temptations, and choose to eat mindfully.
