Sirona Therapy provides tailored Psychotherapy treatment to Westchester County Psychotherapy residents, helping them with personalized approaches to treat their depression. Depression may be common, but your personal situation is not. A customized approach to depression treatment can help you overcome the debilitating sadness that makes it hard to live your daily life.
From individual to family to group therapy, we’ll work with you to find an approach that works for your specific situation. We may even combine multiple approaches to best tackle the underlying issues that are causing your depression.
Our approach is holistic, meaning that we will provide you with tools and methods to help you conquer your depression in a variety of ways. Allow us to refer you to yoga, relaxation, and other tailored programs as our clinicians speak with you about overcoming your specific form of depression.
We’ll talk with you about Cognitive Behavioral Therapy treatment for depression, too. It’s our goal to tackle your depression from all angles instead of limiting ourselves to a limited number of approaches.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is one of our commonly used treatments. This is one of the best treatments for depression and other mental disorders, such as anxiety, mood disorders, eating disorders, and insomnia. It’s been shown to be effective in multiple research studies, and the approach is focused on present, practical solutions to your problems.
We will use CBT to help you identify and challenge problematic thoughts that are interfering with your daily functioning and life.
By changing the way that you think about the problem, we will be able to help you decrease destructive, unhelpful behaviors, while working with you to begin a healthier way of life.
For example, we’ll begin by addressing the thoughts and worries that you have. We’ll move on to changing the actions that encourage these poor thoughts, helping you perform actions that contribute to a better state of mind.
We will create a structured treatment for you over a limited amount of time, usually from 12 to 20 sessions. Once or twice a week for 45 minutes, we’ll help you challenge unhelpful thoughts and show you how your actions and thoughts work together.
Our bipolar disorder treatments are meant to control the emotional pain and unpredictability, helping you lead your fullest life. We know that it can be rough controlling the “up” and “down” moods, and difficult to think of a way out sometimes.
That’s why we’ll talk with you about your feelings, thoughts, emotions, and behaviors using psychotherapeutic methods like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. We also use Interpersonal Therapy, which works to keep our bipolar patients on specific routines that better help you manage your daily life.
Bipolar disorder can disrupt your family life as well, which is why we offer Family Focused Therapy that allows your loved ones to become involved with helping you manage your symptoms more efficiently.
Mental health disorders work by disrupting your feelings, mood, abilities to relate to other people, and daily functioning. They make it difficult to cope with the demands of your daily life, whether you’re having a hard time interacting with someone due to anxiety or can’t find the energy to put away the dishes because of your depression.
Anxiety and depression are two of the most common disorders, but many other mental illnesses afflict people every day. This includes schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder, panic disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, and borderline personality disorder.
All of these can affect any person, and are not the result of some kind of personal weakness. We know you’re strong to get this far, so allow us to help you through the rest of your journey with personalized treatments to address your condition.
Mental health disorders are not something that can be overcome with will power.
Mental disorders have different severities and can lead to permanent problems without the right help.
You don’t have to do this on your own!
