Samantha Lanza, LMHC
Associate Clinician
Welcome,
My name is Sam, I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in New York, and a licensed Professional Counselor in CT. I offer a warm, welcoming and nonjudgmental space where clients can feel seen, heard and supported. I bring a fresh and youthful perspective to my clinical work. Along with a focus on helping young adults navigate the complexities of trauma, relational challenges, self-esteem, anxiety, grief/loss and depression, I am dedicating myself to the specialty of treating Eating Disorders .
I center my approach in evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectal Behavioral Therapy (DBT). I work collaboratively with each client, focusing on building a strong therapeutic relationship as the foundation for healing and growth. I strive to create a space where clients feel empowered to explore their experiences and make meaningful changes. Whether you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or like it will never get better, I’m here to support you with compassion, guidance, and tools to help you not just survive, but thrive.
When I am not in session you can usually find me curled up with a good book, shopping or spending time with my family and friends.
